What happened, to Prettyness, Intellegence, and Respecfulness ? Can someone tell me. Someone please....lol  :D

First things first, you need to write Prettiness & Intelligence!
Secondly, since you're asking for all those traits... why don't u ask urself the same question about albo guys, eh? Does the majority of them possess these traits?! Unfortunately, I doubt!
Which boils down to the next question... soooo, where is their intelligence, where are their good morals, where is their head... does it stand above their shoulders or some place else (I see u herë making plans on how to fiddle with foreign chicks). Disgusting (!) for someone who asks for respect, don't u think ;)
Or... do they have a good heart after all????

A bientot...

Are you serious, SmiLey?! LOL The point is: guys don't give a heck about intelligence, good morals or respectfulness just to fiddle with foreign chicks. The guy you quoted isn't looking around for someone to get married to, now is he?... :)

Stop it. It's not working.

It's neither racism nor sexism. We all want equality. Girls are more than invited to join parties! :D Chicks are welcome to fool around just as much as guys do.

Maybe all this talk is a guy thing and you wouldn't understand anyway.

C'mon Bruna Isolana, what would you say? :)

You guys are doing a great job. It is not what you're doing…it is how you're doing!!! In this case I can say no matter what you're dating…just look the quality and you're good to go.
My vote is "it doesn't matter".

Yeah i guess i kinda overeacted because Ramazani & Lefteri where talking about the quality of albanian girls ( the negative quality i mean ) and then they were showing how low they can get and loose all their morals and prove it all wrong everything they were standing for in the previous comments. You can not ask something from others if you don't give it yourself first. It's like the dad saying to his kid "Smoking is bad son, don't even try it!" holding a cigarette in his hand. What a FREAKING JOKE!!!

South Americans, and Albanians, wow now that's a hot combination...or maybe not...I wonder what they think about us ?

Probably they don't even know us, where albania is, or anything like that...

Oooooooooo I feel sorry about that baby. But sometimes some Albanians girls really deserve that. They just think about their self like they are too looking nice girls, too smart, like there is no other girl around except her. Like look who I am or like "Tingulli 3" said "kishe une P*"...

Hej c'na la pa mesuar ky. :D

Syrgjyn, first of all, let's set down the rules of the conversation. What is the age group we are talking about and with? (because a 16 y/o teenager doesn't have the same prospectives in life as a 27 y/o). Are we talking about fooling around or about finding your soulmate? (2 totally different things) What are you looking for in life? (what are the mott important things to you?) Where did you grow up?

There are many more questions like these that would separate the views of each one of us on the issue. I grew up in Albania in a very traditional family...a strict one if I dare say. I knew what I wanted from life when I was 18 and those are pretty much the same things I want now. I maybe have changed on one thing...that your soul mate could probably be from a different culture. Don't get me wrong; I have never thought of marrying someone foreign (maybe because I never met someone who could be my other half.) What if I met such a guy who has those qualities I am looking for in a man? Do I let it go just because he is not Albanian? I doubt it. What is most important to me is MY HAPPINESS. There are wonderful people in every culture and we don't have to judge their moral and ethical values just because they are not Albanians. I have met some outstanding American people that have much better values than some Albanians I know.

As for fooling around, I never agreed with it. Why would a person in the right state of mind fill his/her life with garbage? Why add more baggage to yourself? Just for fun? Well, it is expected from teenagers but this comes because they live in a different society than the one some of us grew up in. But it is sad when adults want to fool around. But I guess people have different interests in life, they view it differently, and their goals/expectations are unique. I personally would like a pure, simple life with those people that are lawful to me (my family and good friends). That is what makes me happy. ;)

Also, it depends where you grew up. Most of the people in this forum are young and they spent their teen years outside Albania, in a foreign culture. They start thinking and living like the rest of that population (you gotta fit in, otherwise you stick up as a sore thumb.) These kids are used to a different etiquette in a guy/girl. For instance, when a guy asks an American girl, "do u wanna go out with me?" she will say yes if she likes the guy. But the traditional Albanian girl will give you a hard time, as if she wants to prove something. And OKKI is right when he says that sometimes Albanian chicks are full of themselves. Same thing for Albanian guys. Honestly, one time I was at an Albanian cafe here in NY and I was taken aback. Everyone was talking outloud; guys were dressed me kanatjere (mind you, this is evening and you are in a public place), talking like ghetto Americans, and smoking like there is no tomorrow.

Kshuqe, depends on what is important to you in life. Bottom line, whatever floats your boat. :) Whatever makes you happy. It is your life; just play it smart because one day you might repent your actions in the past. :)

Very nice post, Bruna! You really covered it all in a few words. :) Matter-of-factly, short, sweet and to the point.

I guess it's not exactly about age, it's more about one's mindset. I don't think Ramazani and Lefter are looking to get married yet. :)

I'd say it's also about culture, craving for new experiences, fun and "fooling around"... while you want to do that.

Of course... priorities, beliefs, needs, wants and behaviour change through time. Some people remain childish or teen-like and some are old beyond their years. Yet others manage to find a balance between their wants and their needs, connecting to their inner child from time to time, while being adults and responsible for real.

I've always been like, when I'm not in a relationship then I feel free to date whoever I like and as many as I care or can; when in a relationship, however, I stay faithful and true, and don't even think much (if at all) about other women.

So far I've only talked to and dated Albanian men.  The funny thing is when it comes to certain things I'm a pretty open-minded person, however I haven't met one non-Albanian that I was attracted to or would even consider dating, and actually marrying for that matter.  Most people assume that the grass is always greener on the other side, but in reality, it usually isn't.

the consensus from guys (or perhaps both genders) seems to be that non-Albo girls are more fun to date, but Albo ones to marry ... I think I agree  ;)
